█_ 24th January 2013 _█ The date, when someone lost.
The doctors were in chamber or in hospital, students were studying; but the breaking news bar of the television was repeatedly showing the news of departure of our beloved personality National Professor (Dr.) Nurul Islam Sir.
Gone . . . Pearl of the country gone . . . ▒▒▒ (Sigh..!) ▒▒▒
Second Nurul Islam may not again born in the country who can sacrifice his life as like him for the improvement of medical system in Bangladesh. Actually it’s not possible to do so many things by having this short life span. But he did, National Professor (Dr.) Nurul Islam did it. What he did, was beyond the expectation from a single person. Maintaining personal, social, family life he contributed unlimited to the medical field of Bangladesh.
We should not, we cannot; the doctors should not, the doctors cannot forget his outstanding contribution to the field of medicine in Bangladesh.
As long as doctors will survive in this country, National Professor (Dr.) Nurul Islam Sir also will survive in their mind at prayer and at nostalgia.
